Digitizing Sales at MAFU-SHERPA

To win more customers with the same sales team, MAFU-SHERPA needed to digitize its sales processes. This required a strategy for digital customer acquisition. The goal of this strategy was to generate as many qualified inquiries as possible, which would then be handled by the sales team.

A digital marketing strategy was developed based on structured interviews with MAFU-SHERPA’s sales team. It aimed to introduce contract manufacturers and OEMs in the machining industry to the functionality of CNC automation. Above all, this meant conveying the technical advantages of a camera-based automation solution over conventional mechanics. To communicate these points as clearly and visually as possible, a new website and a series of videos for specific CNC machines were developed and integrated.

To spread this information in the right circles, advertising campaigns were run on Google. Regular reviews with the MAFU-SHERPA team allowed CERTAINCE to use the advertising budget as effectively as possible. The result was a set of highly relevant, segmented ads and landing pages tailored to them. These contained the information customers were looking for on application, compatibility, advantages, and technical specifications. Prospects were encouraged to ask questions via contact form, email, or phone.

The digital campaigns attracted thousands of visitors to MAFU-SHERPA’s new website – a big step for a niche of the machining industry. From the resulting inquiries, MAFU-SHERPA has already generated orders worth millions.
